Derived from the active OPERA Series the OPERA Passive range sets new standards in performance and design. These passive loudspeakers retain all of the design and performance characteristics of the active range but offer the additional flexibility of a passive design
There are three 2-way models in the range. Their low weight but high SPL capability 120 – 128 dB, are the ideal solution for fixed installations requiring floor or wall mounting capabilities (optional WB-02 wall bracket).
All models feature PTC high protection circuitry which operates in a similar fashion to a compressor/limiter. In contrast to conventional protection switching in passive loudspeakers, the PTC protection limits power when overload is reached without switching off. This protection is barely audible.
All models feature parallel speaker connections.
