Description
Really interesting toy keyboard. 1991 Kawai MS710. 20 Preset PCM sounds, with a PCM drum kit, 24 variable rhythms, keyed drums, recording, chorus, vibrato, MIDI IN and OUT jacks as well as a pitch bend.
There is an interesting user-programmable ‘Synthesizer’ mode which allows the user to select and stack two additional waveforms to create 4 custom patches. These sound very much like 2-operator FM synthesis sounds, but I am not sure what’s driving them. An AD envelope can be applied to each of the two sounds.
Battery compartment is corrosion-free and includes cover. Uses a standard centre-negative barrel jack DC power supply (not included).
Working perfectly.
